Thom Yorke got annoyed and ditched his gig halfway through after arguing with a heckler during his show in Australia. Furthermore, the Radiohead singer was performing a solo show at the time of the incident and it left fans in a state of frustration.
The Heckler
The heckler at the show apparently interrupted Thom Yorke many times during his performance of “Karma Police”. This caused the singer to pause his performance before calling out the heckler. Thom confronted him directly and said, “Come up on the f**king stage and say what you want to say”. The heckler then demanded that Yorke give his opinion of the Israel-Palestine conflict and this agitated Thom who then decided to leave the stage out of frustration.
Thom’s Return
It was not the end for fans though with Thom returning to the stage later on to finish the song. However, the incident did not go down well with fans, leaving them very frustrated with the actions of the heckler. Also, fans online criticised the heckler by saying that it was not the right place or time to carry out a protest.
