The Black Keys have released a new track, ‘It Ain’t Over’, from their upcoming album, ‘Dropout Boogie’, which will be out on May 13th. The single gives us a taste of what to expect from the next album; one that is likely to soar up the charts!

‘It Ain’t Over’ starts with an unorthodox tone and texture coming from a distant guitar rhythm. The drums then strike and slam into the mix with ferocious force. The drums take centre stage alongside frontman Daniel Quine Auerbach’s lead vocal performance. The two-piece exhibit their high calibre with every move, reminding us why they are among the most potent in this genre. Furthermore, the vocals and musical sounds explode out of the speakers with conviction!

The percussion and guitar cadence becomes increasingly infectious as the track develops. Additionally, there is an authentic feel-good direction here that incorporates plenty of old Black Keys while also allowing plenty of new Black Keys to shine. Moreover, the band adopts an intelligent approach here, enabling nostalgia to emerge and ushering us into a new period for their music.

A characteristic Black Keys guitar solo seizes the spotlight in the last portion. It leaves us yearning for more and eagerly anticipating the release of their new album, ‘Dropout Boogie,’ on May 13th.
