Taylor Swift who celebrates her 30th birthday this year has recently revealed 30 lessons in which she has learned in her life so far.
These 30 lessons are expressed in an essay in which she wrote for Elle magazine. Furthermore, she shares many lessons including ‘Being sweet to everyone all the time can get you into a lot of trouble’. As well as ‘Trying and failing and trying again and failing again is normal’. However the real stand out point was Swift sharing that her “biggest fear” involved keeping her concerts safe.
This has came off the back of the Manchester bombing and Las vegas shooting. Moreover in the essay, Taylor wrote “After the Manchester Arena bombing and the Vegas concert shooting, I was completely terrified to go on tour this time because I didn’t know how we were going to keep 3 million fans safe over seven months”.
“There was a tremendous amount of planning, expense, and effort put into keeping my fans safe”. As a result, security stepped up considerably. This saw new measures put in place including a clear-bag policy. This limited what attendees could bring into the stadiums. Also a controversial facial-recognition technology, which could help track stalkers.
In the essay, Taylor also speaks about handling relationships to online bullying, cooking advice to fashion tips, overall the ‘Blank Space’ star covers a wide variety of subjects.
