Sir Paul McCartney, ‘Find My Way’ – Single Review

Sir Paul McCartney can do little wrong. Yet again he delivers a gem here with ‘Find My Way‘, and he proves that has an infallible approach to songwriting,

Approaching 80 years of age, (mind-blowing especially given his youthful aura), Sir Paul smashes it with his ‘Rockdown’ treat. The track comes from his latest album ‘MCCARTNEY III‘ and it just one of the latest outstanding songs from the former Beatle.

Unorthodox

‘Find My Way‘ kicks off with the guitar ringing out, and it possesses an unorthodox texture which wraps us up like a warm blanket on a chilly evening. The drums then bound forward with a 60’s touch, which adds a new cadence to the current game. Sir Paul then lunges for the mic, and he performs with a quality which you would only expect from one of the worlds greatest vocalists.

Rocky and edgy, the track progresses with omnipotent flavour. I relish how Sir Paul reinvents himself with each record. So much so, this one comes just that little bit different to his last. Also, he adopts a chorus which sticks out like the proverbial thumb. Furthermore, his vocals ring true. Additionally, his poetry hits home with the Liverpudlian offering to help us reach the love we feel inside.

So, is this the best yet from Sir Paul? For me, I find myself gravitating towards him like never before. He fills me with energy, and his latest album proves that he is just as relevant today as he was back in his heyday. Mind you, what is next? Only time will tell, but I imagine Sir Paul will have plenty more hits like this one up his sleeve.
