Sabrina Carpenter, famous for songs such as “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” has recently been hit with criticism after some fans accused her of lip-syncing while on her “Short N Sweet” tour. Moreover, many fans studied Sabrina’s performance very closely and suggested that she was not singing live. The video which a fan posted on TikTok questions whether she is actually singing in person, and many have now mentioned too that it appears that she blends lip-syncing with backing vocals and then some live vocals.

After gaining global recognition following her viral hit of “Espresso“, it is fair to say that Sabrina Carpenter appears to be everywhere. Open up social media and chances are it will not take long until you come across her. So much so, it was only a matter of time until she had to face some criticism. But, she has now hit back!
Response From Sabrina Carpenter
The singer has responded by staying that she sings live at every show and has invited all of her critics to speak to her audio engineers who will confirm the truth. The fan who criticised her though replied suggesting that she should turn down the volume of her backing track.
Sabrina’s tour started in September 2024 and is due to end in March of 2025.
