Rita Ora is one of the worlds biggest and charismatic pop stars. She has had a countless number of top 10 hits, and her population is growing daily. But, she is hanging up her singing boots. Well only for the time being while she concentrates on helping the NHS.
Furthermore, the ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ songstress is taking a leaf out of her mother’s book by providing care to those affected by the current COVID-19 pandemic. What a woman! Apparently, she is ‘very keen to do her bit’. Therefore, the 29-year-old will be joining her mum and older sister Elana on the frontline.
What Will She Be Doing?
Her role as a volunteer will be helping those most vulnerable and also the elderly. As a result, she will deliver medical supplies and collect prescriptions for those most in need. Can you imagine, Rita rocking up to your front door with your latest batch of tablets? It is crazy times we are living in at present, for sure. She will also be making telephone calls to the most lonely and vulnerable people in our society. If anything, she is no stranger to this topic, having released her single ‘How To Be Lonely’ only a few weeks ago.
This update from the Rita Ora camp comes after her mother came out of retirement to provide help within the A&E departments. Speaking about her mum’s return, Rita said “My mother has always been my hero, but this pandemic has honestly made her a superhero in my eyes.
“She is so brave and has been through so much on her own. Yet her generosity to help others cements what I know what my mother is capable of. I’m so happy the rest of the world has now got to see it too.”
