Ringo Starr has left fans in utter shock after he revealed that he has never eaten pizza before. Moreover, The Beatles star who has just released a country album made the surprising admission during a recent visit on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and it was here where he addressed several long-standing rumours about himself.
No Pizza Or Curry
Ringo confirmed that he had never had a slice of pizza and had never eaten a curry. The revelation startled both the crowd and the host, as Ringo explained that he avoids certain meals because of allergies. He acknowledged to being strict about his diet since certain substances make him sick.
Ringo previously appeared in a Pizza Hut ad in 1995, making the news all the more shocking. However, astute viewers may recall, he never ate the stuffed-crust pizza depicted in the advertisement.

Ringo also spoke about his recent surprise performance at Paul McCartney’s December concert in London, UK. The two Beatles legends got back on stage to sing the 1968 hit “Helter Skelter”. Ringo revealed that while the performance may have surprised the crowd at the time, he had been invited to do it a month before by Paul. He said how much he still appreciates playing with his former bandmate and how excited fans are to see them together; long may that continue!
He discovered the gem when he was 12 years old and still has it now, claiming it to be why he fell in love with music. He likes to play disc golf when he's not writing about music. He is a one-of-a-kind individual who is always the first to bust out his air guitar on the dance-floor.
