Guilty
Rick Astley, famous for hits like “Never Gonna Give You Up” and “Together Forever” has revealed that he felt guilty after wanting to take a break from music back in 1993. Moreover, the singer wanted to spend more time with partner Lene Bausager and their daughter, Emilie who was just one year old at the time of the hiatus.
No Fun
Astley also admitted that he did not enjoy the lifestyle which came with being a pop star quite as much as he had previously envisioned before his climb to stardom. As a result, this newfound displeasure of the music business influenced him to step away from the spotlight for a number of years. He also said that his difficult relationship with his parents inspired him to become a musician in the first place, claiming that he wanted the attention.
