Reese Warren began her career as a performer when she was just three years old. Acting, singing, dancing, playing the guitar, and modelling are some of her favourite activities. She won the National Countdown Competition as a champion tap dancer at the age of nine. She received The Artists Project’s youngest TAP medallion recipient three weeks after turning ten years old. Luckily, for us, she stopped by for a chat to speak about her new route into the music industry and her new single.
Colby: Hello Reese, it is marvellous to speak to you. Firstly, you are about to embark on a career in the music industry with a new single, ‘Good Life’. Are you excited about the road ahead?
Reese: Hi! Thank you! Yes! I am so excited and a little nervous. I can’t wait to go on tour and share my music with my fans. It’s going to be a lot of hard work and a lot of fun!
Colby: What is the inspiration behind the new single?
Reese: The Inspiration behind Good Life is spending time with my family and friends doing the things we love to do together. Celebrating summer, swimming, camping and just hanging out and having fun.
Colby: Your new single has a feel-good flow to it. Did you have fun putting it together?
Reese: Yes I did. When I originally started to think about the lyrics and how I wanted the song to be, I knew I wanted a feel-good song that was like a summer anthem, like a Party in the USA vibe.
Colby: Where do you see yourself in a few years, do you plan to embark on a long carer in music, or are you planning to juggle it with your acting roles?
Reese: In a few years, I see myself on a show where I can act, sing and dance. At the same time, write songs, create music and tour doing my show breaks.
Colby: Lastly, what is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Reese: The best piece of advice I have ever received is to work hard and don’t give up.
