Synth-rock duo, Red Back Light, have just released their latest single ‘Nothing I Can Do’, an energetic and powerful track taken from the duo’s 2017 EP, ‘No More Memories’.
Red Back Light are a duo from Montevideo, Uruguay, producing a unique synth-rock sound, full of energy. With influences including The Cure, Gorillaz, Depeche Mode and St Vincent, Red Back Light’s music creates a dark mood, blended to perfection with punchy aspects of modern pop and dance music.
Given the success of their debut EP, this single is sure to impress. ‘No More Memories’ is a great example of the pair’s lyrical talent. The melancholic themes are portrayed through a visceral, powerful and catchy vocal melody. The production is full of life, with driving drums, dynamic guitars and a thunderous bass line, all enveloped in a stunning synth soundscape.
