Petit Biscuit, ‘Burnin’ – Single Review

I first fell for Petit Biscuit back with his ‘Sunset Lover’ release; I imagine a lot of people found him from the same hit. It was just incredible, wasn’t it? I still relish it just as much today as I did the first time I heard it. However, Petit Biscuit is giving us a new favourite here with his fresh release ‘Burnin’.

‘Burnin’ follows a similar electronic direction to his previous hits, but it comes with a potent vocal which will have you clinging on for dear life. Furthermore, it all kicks off as it means to go on with a climbing rhythm arrangement which sounds like someone walking up some steps. The vocals then greet the mix with conviction. They are confident with an inspirational tone.

Sturdy

Also, I relish how Petit Biscuit introduces a myriad of new sounds as the track progresses. So much so, we hear a synth gliding through the airwaves with an angelic tone. Also, the harmonies which are present add even more weight to the already sturdy foundation. Additionally, it carries a catchy fundamental which pushes the track forward from the very start.

Catchy is an understatement with the melody leaving a long-lasting impression. Also, the vocals change shape regularly with a new quality becoming present towards the latter and they arrive with an even sharper tone.

Overall, Petit Biscuit can do no wrong with this new hit. It is everything which you would expect from a producer of his calibre. Moreover, he hits the nail firmly on the head once again, and I will be keeping this one close for quite some time.
