Hello Nwando, What Do You Enjoy Most About Being A Musician?
“I’m a huge fan of music so there are many aspects to being a musician which I enjoy. But, I would say that performing on stage to an audience is the most gratifying and rewarding part.”
Which Track Of Yours Means The Most To You?
“The track of mine which means the most is a song called ‘Stay Stubborn’, which I wrote ages ago. I am now in my 20s and it is a song about believing in yourself and going for your dreams. At the moment my favourite track is of course ‘Put In The Work’ which is out now to stream.”
The First-Ever Gig You Played, Can You Remember It? How Was It?
“I sang at my brothers school when I was 15 years old and I sang ‘I Will Always Love You’ by Whitney Houston. I remember being so scared, it was an all boys school but I think it went down pretty well.”
What Do You Think Is The Key To Success As A Musician?
“I think there are so many different routes but I would say have a plan for yourself and a clear idea of where you want to be. I would also say surround yourself with the best people and mentors. Additionally, have fun and believe in yourself, learn an instrument and put in the work.”
If You Wasn’t A Musician, What Job Would You Be Doing?
“If I was not a musician, I would be doing something creative like hair and make-up/ fashion or maybe even something in the media.”
