For anyone who is not familiar with Megan Thee Stallion, this could be the track to pull you into her game. Moreover, the record is fresh, and the Texas-born rapper grips us with vigour. Also, she proves that she is one of the brightest female rappers to grace the airwaves in recent times.

‘Circles‘ gets underway with a gradual overture with a vocal sample echoing out in the background. Megan then leaps forward with a take no prisoner approach. For me, I relish how agile she is vocally, and she sounds like a faster, ‘Nicki Minaj‘ as the track progresses. Also, Megan’s story is prevalent, given that she sings about the struggles of modern relationships; I am sure many will vouch for her words. Furthermore, she speaks about trust and personal feelings candidly from the start.

Sway

Musically, the mix stays relatively condensed although a beat chips away in the back end of the mix, and it is hard not to sway to its infectious rhythm. Nevertheless, I would enjoy a few more sounds to pop out of the mix along the way, why? Because the instrumental stays somewhat orthodox and we do not hear anything massively courageous.

Overall, ‘Circles‘ is a breadwinner which I am sure will catapult Megan to even more phenomenal realms. Also, she proves that she is not just a replica of what we have become accustomed to; instead, she shines with unique quality, and I am sure many will be keeping this on repeat for quite some time.
