Milestone For Mariah Carey
With her famous Christmas anthem “All I Want For Christmas Is You“, Mariah Carey, the unquestionable queen of Christmas, has achieved an amazing milestone. Millions of people all over the world love the 1994 smash, which is currently commemorating its 30th anniversary; but the pop star is somewhat reluctant to really mark the occasion.

Recently on Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, the 55-year-old star whose holiday classic has become a seasonal fixture offered her opinions on the song’s anniversary. Reminded that her cherished song has now been spreading holiday pleasure for three decades, Mariah Carey grudgingly said, “I don’t like the word ‘time’ and ‘thirty,’ so I don’t know what that means.”
She said, with her trademark humour, “I would have to say it seems real that it’s been thirty minutes since I put out ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You'”
Although her remarks show her resistance to focus on time passing, fans know Mariah’s relationship to the holidays is timeless.
30th Anniversary
Mariah has celebrated the 30th anniversary of her Christmas classic in various ways even if she is playfully denying it. Early in October, the “We Belong Together” singer revealed she will be re-releasing the song this year using brand-new artwork.
He discovered the gem when he was 12 years old and still has it now, claiming it to be why he fell in love with music. He likes to play disc golf when he's not writing about music. He is a one-of-a-kind individual who is always the first to bust out his air guitar on the dance-floor.
