‘That’s Where I Am’ isn’t afraid to be bold, and its unconventional texture pushes the boundaries. Furthermore, it begins with a loop that only listeners of a particular age would recognise. It is the sound of a cd skipping, which appears to be an effect on a Maggie Rogers hum and it soon finds its feet alongside Maggie’s alluring vocal delivery.
