Turning up the feel-good, Lizzo provides the excitement like never before! She reminds us all to enjoy life despite obstacles or barriers that may come our way. Furthermore, her wordplay is infectious, and it is challenging not to feel at ease while listening to this latest delivery from the Detroit born superstar.

Positivity

Lizzo appears to be in a good place in life, not only because her music career is soaring to new heights but also because she has a new relationship that has blossomed in recent months. The positivity brewing in her life is finding its way into her music, and it is refreshing to witness her upbeat demeanour, something we need more of right about now!

The hips are jiving in a frenzy as ‘About Damn Time’ begins with a Nile Rodgers-style guitar groove. Lizzo then rises with a vocal that sends the excitement level to new heights. Her vocal tone glides effortlessly across the mix, drawing us in quickly. The vocal melody is similar to Dua Lipa’s ‘Electricity’ hit with Diplo and Mark Ronson in 2018. But, Lizzo still stands out with distinction proving that she is one of the best pop talents to grace our radios in recent years.
