American rapper Lil Mosey returns with a new hip hop gem with ‘Try Me‘. It is a track that follows on from his highly successful 2021 with his ‘Blueberry Faygo‘ hit soaring up the echelon.
‘Try Me‘ kicks off with a harrowing overture with a bold and deep sounding piano arrangement soaked in an archaic texture; it gets the journey underway with memorability. Lil Mosey then rises to the top of the mix with a stand out rap performance. From the get-go, he showcases why he is likely to become one of the biggest rappers of tomorrow.
New Dimension
Furthermore, he has an inviting vocal timbre, and his character stands out for all the right reasons. Also, he brings a new dimension to the scene with a fresh outlook. As a result, it is difficult to refuse his prowess. Likewise, the music is flavoursome with a beat that gets the foot tapping in an instant. The bass leaves an indent, too, with its low subterranean quality, which sounds omnipotent when listening on a speaker setup with a subwoofer. Also, the mixture of sounds that make up the foundation keeps the excitement flowing.
In the refrain, Lil Mosey takes a hint from Drake with similar bars and melodies to the Canadian hitmakers ‘In My Feelings‘ masterpiece. However, Lil Mosey is not a mirror image, and he reinvents a sound that is already popular in the scene, and it pays off massively. Furthermore, he paves the way forward with vigour, and he sets the bar high for his peers.
