Lana Del Rey has returned! With ‘Watercolor Eyes’, the vocalist seizes the spotlight once more, fierce as ever. Lana has released the new tune for the HBO show ‘Euphoria’. It debuted during the final credits of the third episode of season two.

The star performer brings a nostalgic atmosphere to the surface with a sound that many will equate to her very early recordings as she delves further into her discography. Her performance takes us on a rollercoaster ride as the starlet talks about the brutal realities of relationships, breakups and makeups, and everything in-between!

Lana wears her heart on her sleeve in the lyrics, which are profound and have a lasting effect. She investigates paradoxes, the juxtaposition of good and evil. Also, the sugaring of negative experiences in an attempt to alleviate the pain while yet realising that it isn’t right. The soundtrack reflects the spirit of the wordplay, and the rich soundscape created by the plethora of noises offers an unforgettable experience!

The piano melody, lavish in timbre, blends perfectly with an angelic guitar lead line, both of which draw us deeper into the production. In addition, the subtle but captivating drums that appear in the refrain add even more weight to the already strong foundation. Also, they pick up as the song progresses, adding almost palpable energy.
