Korn, the nu-metal pioneers, storm through the industry gates and strike us across the face with their new release, ‘Lost In The Grandeur’. The song is from the band’s latest album, ‘Requiem’, which is available now!

Hold on to your seat because you’re in for a wild journey! The band provides newfound mystery while being true to their beginnings; it’s an admirable trait the band possesses, always looking for new growth areas while remaining humble to the sound that catapulted them to fame decades ago.

‘Lost In The Grandeur’ kicks off with a thunderous drum hit beating down with its syncopated rhythm. Jonathan Davis, the band’s frontman, quickly takes up the microphone and slays it; his tones piercing through the mix with distinction! Also, with omnipotent characteristics, the guitar riff tears through the airwaves, drawing us in and not letting us out of its menacing rock texture; not that we’d want to!

Jonathan’s vocals get better with each release, and it’s noteworthy that he keeps pushing the edge with his delivery. Furthermore, many rock singers reach a plateau, never genuinely going deeper and exploring new possibilities; however, JD is the polar opposite. His determination to keep developing is most certainly one of the reasons why Korn is as relevant today as they were before!

Overall, ‘Lost In The Grandeur’ is top-notch nu-metal! It’s a true reflection of the band’s talent, and it’ll pave the way for not only Korn but also other artists in the scene!
