Outburst
Kid Rock is making headlines once again but this time for an onstage outburst during a surprise performance at Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville bar. The rocker who is not one to mince his words abruptly ended his set after expressing frustration with the audience’s lack of passion.
David Bryan
Over the weekend, the musician joined David Bryan, the longtime keyboardist for Bon Jovi, to celebrate Bryan’s 63rd birthday. The performance began with Kid Rock taking the stage alongside the birthday celebrant, treating the crowd to a rendition of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s classic 1969 hit, Proud Mary. At first, it was all going well with fans responding with applause as Rock joined the performance, but things quickly took a turn.
The End
Just a couple of minutes into the set, Kid Rock halted the performance and signaled the band to stop playing. He then called out the crowd and he urged them to show more enthusiasm and participate by clapping to the songs. Despite the audience complying to his request, the energy did not meet his expectations and it led him to stop the show once again. This time though he was that frustrated that he left the stage, bringing the performance to an abrupt and unexpected end.
