With ‘Tipping Point’ and ‘The Shape Of Water,’ Karuna triumphantly return with two enthralling new tracks. Both are stimulating singles that we’ve been yearning for without even realising it!

It’s not often that a sound like Karuna breaks through the surface of contemporary music, but when it does, it’s energising. Abi also seizes the moment, reminding us of the lovely feelings that early music evokes. She also uses robust wordplay to cast doubt on our desire to save the planet, repeating that we must do more to ensure the survival of future generations.

The first of the two new releases, ‘Tipping Point’, begins with Abi serenading the ears with her superb lead vocal. She blends in with the beautiful music beneath her, and the archaic textures of the strings and guitar lead pluck at the heartstrings. The performance is dramatic. Also, as it proceeds, a slew of new sounds emerge, drawing us even closer to the experience.

‘The Shape Of Water’ continues the message of ‘Tipping Point’. But, it is more honest in reflecting the world around us. It flows smoothly, and Abi’s zeal to make her point energises the soul. Also, it solidifies the message that Karuna are so passionate about, and that is, the world is in desperate need of repair!
