Pop singer Karisa has made quite the start to her career with the release of her new EP, “Endless Summer”. For me, this collection of three tracks is a trip to an 80s-inspired dream and the sounds keep me hooked all the way through.

“Night Waves” is the first track. It is a song with gliding synthsn and charistmatic loop pads, providing a route straight to utopia. The vocals from Karisa are fresh with a nostaglic quality, lending themselves too to the music which has a synthwave quality. For me, her vocals are hard to let go of, for the right reasons too and it is easy to get lost in her words.

“Coastal Dreams” is the track which follows and it has its own unique feel. There is an aeshetic which is rich and inviting and the vocal hooks stand out with their compelling tones. It does a splendid job at bringing a feel of summer nostalgia to the forefront with a contempoary edge! “Mirage” wraps up the EP and it has a hypnotic feel and the production makes it ideal for a sunset drive down a country lane.
