Guide
I’ve been spinning MC Jay Kurdy’s new track “You Gave Me Music” since it dropped, and honestly, it’s a serious contender for the sound of the summer. After enjoying his previous single “Wishes, Dreams & Reality”, I was curious to see what he’d do next—and he’s definitely raised the bar.
Full Of Life
The track bursts to life with a groovy guitar riff that immediately pulled me in. It sets the tone perfectly for what turns out to be a high-energy, feel-good anthem. What I really love is how Jay blends genres—there’s Hip Hop, Dance, and Reggae all rolled into one, and somehow it just works. It’s got this really cool, genre-defying sound that feels both nostalgic and new at the same time.
Jay’s Flow
Jay’s flow is on point throughout—he’s got that rhythmic bounce that makes the verses super engaging, and the chorus has been stuck in my head since my first listen. Rachel Chambers’ vocals add so much depth to the track, giving it a soulful edge that really ties everything together.
This is one of those songs that instantly lifts your mood. It feels like it was made for sunshine, late-night drives, or dancing with your friends. It’s vibrant, infectious, and full of energy—and I can already tell it’s going to be on heavy rotation for me over the coming months. If you haven’t heard it yet, definitely give it a listen.
