Okay, so sadly Jake Bugg has taken down his new single ‘Rabbit Hole’. We were one of the lucky few to hear it and do a little review of it before it became non-existent.
For many of you wondering why it was available and then taken down, it appears that there may have been some confusion with the release schedule. We asked Jake Bugg why it happened but are still awaiting an official response. However, in a recent post written by Bugg, he stated that the track is coming out next Friday instead, oops.
We are unsure how this came about and why next Friday is a lot more crucial for the release than the previous week it came out. Nevertheless, if you did listen and now like us are sad to see it go, do not fret too much. We are confident it will be available next week.
Lucky Few
For all those who did manage to get a listen, count yourself very lucky. Many fans online are regretting not hearing it sooner. Ah, well what’s another week? Either way, I have been wondering how this came about. After all, it is infrequent to see something like this happen, especially at the top of the music industry. Could it be a deliberate attempt to get people talking about it? We are not entirely sure. If anything, it looks a bit shoddy. Especially when so many have gone to add it into their playlists including official Spotify channels.
Nevertheless, it is/ was a great track and for us, possibly Jake’s best, therefore, we will ensure we get it back into our new music Fri-YAY playlist once it returns next week. That is, of course, if it does come out and stays available? Only time will tell.
