Hopdot are a group who have really piqued my curiosity recently and their new single, “When Will I Love Again” is a real treat this autumn.
David Hopper
This new arrival from Hopdot is one which I have been clinging onto ever since I hit play and composer, David Hopper really proves himself from the get-go. Moreover, the track starts with a piano overture which rides through the air alongside an unorthodox drum rhyhtm. There is a dreamy aura about the track and it makes the perfect entrance for the vocals.
Angelic Vocals
The female vocalist delivers a performance which sends me straight off to dreamland. Her angelic style matches the song’s mood perfectly and she really strikes while the iron is hot with a narrative which hits home. Furthermore, she sings about romance and the difficulties of heartbreak. The lyricist Philip Swallow creates an impact delving into themes of loneliness and longing, often reaching out in the hope that one’s loved one may return and walk back through the door.
Overall, this is a really great track from Hopdot, and it is one which I will be keeping on my playlist for a long time to come!
