Foo Fighters are dropping new tracks as if it is going out of fashion. Well, one thing which is not going out of style is the Foos. Yet again, they grip with their infectious new rock release ‘Waiting On A War’.

An ethereal guitar rhythm kicks the track off. Also, frontman, Dave Grohl flies high with a breathtaking vocal delivery. The opener is quintessential of the band. It demonstrates that the band are still getting better. Also, proving why they are still one of the greatest rock bands.

The words express the story of a young boy who is finding his way in life. Dave casts a nostalgic lens back to his youth, and his poetry plucks with piercing quality. Also, the music drives forward with intent. There is nothing rudimental about their approach with the group leveraging their talent. Also, the countless years they have gained in the music business pays off.

The group switch up the structure with the pace picking up towards the latter. It has a colossal emphasis and leads us into one of the biggest rock finales to grace the airwaves in recent times. Further, the ending is quite the opener’s paradox with it pushing through with fast energy.

So is this one of the best tracks to come from Foo Fighters? They are on a roll; thus, it is tricky to pinpoint a favourite given that all their new gems smash it. But, this one comes that little bit different. Plus, it has something for everybody with the track changing shape often.
