British artist Example has begun the new year with a touching announcement: his third child is here! The singer announced on Instagram on January 1st that he and Daisy Cox welcomed their first child together, a son called Lucas Winter Cox Gleave.
The Update
Example now lives in Australia and is known for hits like “Kickstarts” and “Last Ones Standing” and he shared the update alongside a series of photos. The photos included a tender moment with Daisy in the hospital. There was also a close-up of the newborn’s tiny fingers. The parents expressed their delight at Lucas’s timely New Year’s Day arrival, marking a very special start to 2025.
Ex-wife
This marks the singers third child of whom he shares two sons, Evander, 10, and Ennio, 7, with his ex-wife, Australian model Erin McNaught. The former couple announced their amicable separation in late 2022 and they continue to co-parent effectively.
Life In Australia
Daisy who is an art dealer from the UK, relocated to Brisbane to be with the singer and she has brought new happiness to his life. Meanwhile, Erin, Example’s ex wife expanded her own family last October and she welcomed a son, Obi, with her new partner, Stace Cadet, the Australian record producer.
As Example embarks on this new chapter with Daisy and baby Lucas, fans have took to social media to congratulate the growing family.
He discovered the gem when he was 12 years old and still has it now, claiming it to be why he fell in love with music. He likes to play disc golf when he's not writing about music. He is a one-of-a-kind individual who is always the first to bust out his air guitar on the dance-floor.
