The singer of “New Rules” believes that oversharing is a tactic to attract attention, calling out others as being attention seekers. Moreover, Dua tries to keep her personal life private and although she has had countless high-profile relationships, she has said she doesn’t use them to gain more attention from her music.

Quality is key for Dua who insisted that she concentrates on making music which hits home with her fans as opposed to creating clickbait purely for hype. However, many may argue that some of her songs have been inspired by past relationships such as “Hotter Than Hell” and “Maria“.

The pop star is currently dating Callum Turner, the British actor.
