Dua Lipa fans were spoilt this week as the singer took to social media this week to announce both a new album and a tour.
The album, ‘Future Nostalgia’ is yet to have an exact release date, however we do know that it is coming in 2020. The tour kicks off in April of next year, so we predict the album release will be within the first three months of the new year.
The lead single from the new album ‘Don’t Start Now’ came out last month. The single reached number 2 in the UK singles chart.

The new album will be in full force on her EU tour, which starts in April 2020 in Madrid, Spain. Therefore, the album will be in our playlists before April at least! The tour also comes along to the UK in May, with two dates at The O2 in London.
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, December 6th.
The Album Title
The singer announced the album title in a very unique way, with a tattoo. Dua Lipa took to social media this week to show off her new tattoo. Captioning the imagine ‘SWIPE FOR ALBUM TITLE’.
Speaking about the upcoming album, Dua Lipa said: “What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favourite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine.”
She takes inspiration from a number of artists on the new record. With names such as Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Blondie and Outkast. The album will boast a nostalgic disco sound with fresh and futuristic elements.
Dua also promises a live element to the new release. Reflecting her naturally matured pop sensibility with modern electronic production.
