Canadian producer and DJ, deadmau5 makes me wanna get on my dancing shoes with his new release, “Jupiter”. This fresh arrival from the 44-year-old artist is one to relish and it is available to stream now.
Mix Builds Gradually
The mix builds gradually with new sounds emerging as it moves forward. Given the title of the track, it is no surprise that the aura feels out of this world and while I am listening I can almost feel myself leaving the surroundings around me. It is a powerful quality which deadmau5 possesses and I remember feeling the same when I first discovered him back in 2008 with “I Remember” which featured Kaskade.
New Dimensions
“Jupiter” feels like an extension of what has come before from deadmau5 while also incorporating a new edge. Moreover, it is evident from listening that the producer enjoys sticking to his roots and delivering his trademark quality while also exploring new dimensions. The synth layering creates a stereo effect which sounds immense on a 5:1 speaker setup and the subtle rhythm pauses ensure that the track keeps me fixated throughout. Furthermore, the song feels as though it is going to reach the climax, then suddenly drops back again with new excitement brewing and fresh sections which sound even more omnipotent than the last.
Conclusion
Overall, I am a big fan of “Jupiter” by deadmau5. It does not push too far outside of the box but it has enough fresh elements to make it stand out in a scene which has become even more competitive since deadmau5 first started out back in the early 2000s.
