Cardi B has recently found herself land her first movie role. The role will be in a stripper film and will see her feature alongside fellow singer and actress Jeniffer Lopez.
The movie is based on “The Hustlers at Scores” which sees a group of strippers con Wall Street workers out of money.
Furthermore, J-Lo will also be producing the film along with Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medin. It will be written and directed by Lorene Scafaria.
Lorene recently spoke about the new project. She said: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with this dynamic group of women, We’re grateful to have assembled such a powerhouse cast and can’t wait to start filming at the end of the week.
This film will be the first movie in which Cardi B features in. Furthermore, it appears that she is best fit for this role. This is due to her having worked as a stripper herself before becoming a global super star. She revealed this previously mentioning she became a stripper after being fired from a supermarket position. She told Dazed “The manager told me to go across the street to the strip club and dance, saying I’d make so much money and had a nice body. Ever since then I was dancing – Tuesday to Sunday, every day”.
