Billie Eilish and Spanish singer, Rosalía mesmerise with their new release ‘Lo Vas A Olvidar‘. The latest release features in the special episode of the hit show, ‘Euphoria‘.

Heavenly with a gentle soundscape, this new track grips just as you would expect. Both artists sound delightful with their signature flavours rising to the top of the compound. It kicks off with Billie and Rosalía both reaching for the mic. The pair synergise well with their distinct harmonies and tone coming together like adhesive. It creates a hybrid which is challenging to refuse.

Esoteric

As the track progresses, the lyrics often switch between Spanish and English, with no set pattern or rule. Instead, some lines are Rosalía’s native tongue while others in Billie’s. So much so, it is exciting but yet esoteric. As a result, unless you can speak both English and Spanish, you will have difficulty figuring out what is going on lyrically. But, who cares? The vibe gives everything away. It is passionate, and the emotion drips from every note.

‘Lo Vas A Olvidar‘ is produced by Billie Eilish’s brother, Finneas. Furthermore, the hit producer who now has a successful solo career adds his trademark touch on the entire piece. It boasts a similar aura to the rest of Billie’s backlog, which he also produced. But, yet there is a fresh angle here, and the trajectory leaves an indent. Cleverly, the mix is relatively straight forward, and not a lot happens musically with the vocals taking the limelight, but it does not feel light. The power leaks out from the outset, and it does not stop.
