‘Emotional Creature’ by Beach Bunny – Album Rating: 4/5 ★★★★☆
The latest album ‘Emotional Creature’ by the American indie rock band Beach Bunny is a step in the right direction for the group. The band is experiencing a meteoric rise in popularity, and their second album is now available everywhere.
‘Emotional Creature’ is a twelve-track wave of new charisma, and the four-piece explores a newly uncovered sound. Additionally, they embrace a new era with the introduction of synths; the addition makes us even more awestruck. The song ‘Entropy’ serves as the album’s introduction. Immediately, every member of the band engraves their unwavering assurance into our very being. The drums hit with determination. Also, the guitars wrap themselves around the lugs with a crunchy aesthetic for which we cannot find fault. In addition, frontwoman Lili Trifilio demonstrates that the rumours are correct; she is captivating!
Prevalence
‘Gone’, which comes four tracks into the album, hits with deep prevalence; she speaks openly about endings, and her lyrics penetrate with the sincere sorrow she feels about them. ‘Infinity Room’, which comes ten tracks into the album, features a hazy texture, and it takes us to a new realm. Track seven’s ‘Fire Escape’ leverages a sound that their contemporaries have unveiled in prior years. Still, it also provides a unique sci-fi aspect that helps them differentiate themselves from the competition.
‘Love Song’ serves as the album’s final track and does an excellent job of bringing the experience to a superior close; it sends us right back to the beginning for another fix!
