However, this will come as no shock to many given that Obama has previously shown interest in the pop genre.

Proving himself as a cool figure once more, Barack Obama keeps it real with him speaking about Charli XCX’s new album, “Brat”. Moreover, he spoke on the “I’ve Had It” podcast and praised Charli XCX for the album, stating that he genuinely listens to the music on his playlist. He also mentioned that he is a fan of tracks like “Chihiro” by Billie Eilish and “Texas Hold ‘Em” by Beyoncé.
Charli XCX and Politics
Although it is always a great pleasure when someone like Barack Obama praises your music, what impact could this have on the singer? The singer has previously tweeted her support for Kamala Harris, who stands in the same party as Barack Obama, therefore it is doubtful she will have much of a problem with the praise. But, she has also mentioned before that her music is not political and that she rather focuses on personal expression in her work.
