The Sweetener Tour kicked off in March of last year, and was originally in support of her 2018 album of the same name. However, before the tour even started she released another album in the form of the iconic Thank U, Next. The upcoming live album features songs from both albums, including some older throwback hits.
The Track List
Ari unveiled the track list via her Instagram story. The track list was a humble screenshot of a text message featuring all 29 songs. We see songs from albums Thank U, Next and Sweetener such as “No Tears Left to Cry” and “Breathin”. The live album will also include live versions of the Yours Truly album cut “Tattooed Heart” and a cover of the 1938 Cole Porter track “My Heart Belongs to Daddy.” (Famously performed by Marilyn Monroe)
The world tour has not actually wrapped up yet. With 7 shows left to play in the United States.
You can now pre save the album on Spotify. However, there is no set release date or fixed album title as of yet. Ariana, who is very active on her Twitter account, spent a night replying to fans questions. Including telling us that she wants the release date and the title to be ‘a lil surprise’.
Although there is no exact release date currently, we know that the album is definitely coming this month. Ariana replied to a fan on twitter who asked if the album will be dropping in 2019 with a simple ‘mhmm’.
