Nasa spoke about the recent revelation, they said. “As we look forward to sending the first woman and the next man to the Moon by 2024 with our Artemis missions, interns working at NASA’s Johnson Space Center remixed Ariana Grande’s song ‘NASA’ to share their excitement for deep space exploration”.
“The lyrics and scenes in the video have been re-imagined in order to inform the public about the amazing work going on at NASA and the Johnson Space Center.”
“Through the agency’s Artemis lunar exploration program, we will use innovative new technologies and systems. Which will explore more of the Moon than ever before.”
Jim Bridenstine
Moreover, Jim Bridenstine, Administrator at NASA revealed that he wanted to land a female astronaut on the moon within five years. This is part of a new programme, ‘Artemis’. The intention is to inspire young woman to work in the space industry.
Furthermore, he said that seeing the first woman land on the moon will inspire a new generation of young girls to work in the space industry. As a result, this will mean that it will not just be a dream job for young boys but for girls also.
What are your thoughts on NASA’s mission to take a woman to the moon? Also do you think that it is good that they are wanting more girls to come into the space agency?
